Christmas Cupcakes

Are these adorable or what?! They were so fun to make, I love the Christmas season. Little Santa hats, Christmas wreaths, snowflakes, and poinsettias. The snowflakes are piped white chocolate with sugar crystals for some sparkly snow. All of the others are made out of buttercream. Merry Christmas!

Doctor Who Phone Booth

Any Dr Who fan would know what this is . . . for everyone else this is a phone booth. Not really knowing a lot about the show myself, I still think this turned out pretty cute. Get ready for your mouth to turn blue, it's all buttercream.

1 Year Old

Smash cakes are a must when you are having a one year old birthday party, so why not have matching cupcakes for everyone else. Sprinkles are perfect to do with any theme and you can pick and mix your own colors. Just picture how cute this would be smooshed all over a babies face!

Monster Inc Inspired Cupcakes

Here are some Sulley and Mike Wazowski inspired cupcakes. These are really fun to make and very easy. It is all out of buttercream. Making the different colors would possibly take longer than actually making the cupcakes. For the Mike cupcakes I just used different sized round tips. For Sulley I used a grass tip to make his fur effect. Simple and cute.

Willy Wonka Bar-Cake

This would be a big golden ticket! How fun to have a Willy Wonka themed birthday party. Of course this would have to be a chocolate cake inside. But this wrapper you can eat, it's fondant.

Owls, Owls, and Owls!

I love how this cake turned out. It was fun to make the different personalities of the owls, just their eyes can be so expressive. You can't really see it but there is a cute chevron pattern out of grey going around the side of the cake.

This cake is made to look like the national flag Argentina, with a little welcome to baby on it. Who would want to have a cute little baby fance on their flag?

Frozen Theme Cake

I didn't want to make a typical Frozen movie cake, so I made a snowflake themed one instead. I iced the cake in buttercream and then put blue sugar around the cake. I pored melted white chocolate onto the cake and the stuck my snowflakes (that I had previously piped and let harden) around the cake. I think it turned out magical.

Superhero cake

My son couldn't make up his mind about which superhero he wanted on his birthday cake, so I did 4 superheros. I love how it turned out and so did he!
Spiderman
 Superman
Hulk (or as my son calls him Hunk Smash)
 Batman
Since my kids and their friends all love fondant they loved this cake and all wanted the Hulk hand.

Asian Theme Cake

My Daughter wanted an Asian themed birthday, and she loves fans, so this is what I came up with for her birthday cake.

To make the fan I rolled out white fondant cut out my tree and flowers, "glued" them onto the white fondant and then rolled the whole thing out again. I made the pleats and let it dry overnight.
