Welcome to Autumn. I love the colors of this season and tried to capture them a little bit with this cake. I have wanted to cover a cake with tiny little flowers for a while now and my Mother-In-Law's birthday gave me the perfect excuse. It was easy to cut out the flowers, but it took a lot more than I thought it was going to. I actually ran out of fondant and had to spread them out more than initially I wanted to. I guess I will know better next time I attempt this cake design.
